ABOUT ME

I started doing web design about seventeen years ago while working for the now defunct online service known as Prodigy. Around that time, Netscape just started making waves in the tech world and the world wide web had just started up as mostly text pages at universities. I was studying graphic design at East Tennessee State University, and it didn't take me long before I was trying to stick pictures on websites. Before I knew it, I was sucked in. And the rest - as they say - is history.

Me and Lis hanging out in downtown Little Rock.

I've worked at various web design firms in East Tennessee, Chicago, Nashville and Little Rock, AR. I spent the last three and a half years working at 1011Web Solutions as their Art Director. I recently left there to tackle some personal projects and return to contract work for different clients. I still reside in the Little Rock area.

I use a wide range of different software, but my primary weapons of choice are:
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Autodesk 3DS MAX, Pixologic Zbrush and far too many fonts to count. I work on a Windows-based PC that is powerful enough to make my neighbors' lights flicker when I boot up. I've also converted my work area into a small recording studio where I've been producing original music and mixing/mastering my own work. If you're interested in getting some help with mixing your recorded music, I can actually help you out with that as well.

In my downtime, I'm usually either playing guitar (I have a serious guitar problem) or writing music. I'm also an avid PC gamer when I have time to play. If you need any type of design work, I'd be happy to discuss your project with you. I can usually fit in new work - even on tight deadlines. Just let me know what you had in mind and we can figure it out. If we need to talk via phone, I will be glad to give you a call to discuss things as well. Thanks for visiting!
