RATES
I've divided my rates into different "packages" for website design to give clients some flexibility. Some folks just need a design and want to pass things along to a programmer to splice images and proceed with HTML/CSS creation. Some clients need me to slice up the layout and create all the pages for them. Other folks need the whole package and want to have the site setup with a CMS (Content Management System) built in and ready to go. I can work around whatever your needs may be. If there's something special you need that you don't see any information about, just ask me. I'll be glad to answer any questions and hopefully get you on the fast track to launching your new website.

WEBSITE DESIGN
I JUST NEED A DESIGN - $450.00
This is the basic option for my website design services. I'll create a homepage design AND an internal page design for you (for all the interior pages). Usually the homepage and interior pages utilize different layout and design, so hopefully that makes sense. When finished, I'll give you two Photoshop files (one for the homepage and one for the internal pages). It's up to you to "chop up" these layouts and create the HTML/CSS needed for the web. If you're working with a programmer(s) or other designer(s), they can probably slice the layout for you and save you some money. If you have no idea how to chop up a design into web pages and you're not working with any other developers, you probably should move on to the next package.
I NEED A DESIGN AND THE HTML/CSS SETUP - $750.00
This method includes a homepage & internal page design. I'll also chop up the designs and setup the HTML/CSS for you. Once finished, you will have a web page for each section of your site containing "Dummy Text" which will be ready to be replaced by the real content. If you want me to put all your content in for you, I can certainly do that. I do charge $50 an hour to place all your content into the pages. This includes resizing any images you have and placing them into the pages as well. Once complete, your site will be ready to upload.
I NEED IT ALL. DESIGN, PRODUCTION, & A CMS SYSTEM - $2500.00
This is the "full" package which gets you everything mentioned above, plus a Content Management System setup so YOU can change your own content through an administration system. You will be able to do this through the website itself. This makes updating/changing your site VERY simple and is highly suggested if you will be updating your site frequently. Here again, I still charge $50 per hour to place your content into the pages (including images).
BUT I NEED MORE...LIKE A BLOG OR A COMMERCE SYSTEM! - $???
We need to talk if you need advanced features such as a news feed, commerce system or other custom parts. I work with a few programmers that can easily make this happen for you. I will be glad to facilitate the process should you decide to proceed. This sounds complex, but it's really not - I can work with any website company you may already be using as well. Just let them know you're using a different designer and we can easily work around it. Please contact me for more details and pricing.
LOGO DESIGN
I charge a flat rate of $350 for a logo. This begins with 3 initial concept "sketches" to give you a rough idea (in black & white) of what direction we can go. Once we decide on the direction to continue based on that, I'll finish out the design (with color). We can continue to tweak and change the design until
you're satisfied with the result. HOWEVER, after three revisions (or a major do-over), I will have to start billing at $50 an hour. This rarely comes into play. As long as we establish some good communication up-front and make an effort to discuss look and feel, you shouldn't worry too much about extra charges.
When the logo is finished I will supply you with a PDF version and an EPS file containing a vector format of the logo. I will also give you a high-resolution PNG file that you can use on your letterheads and personal printing needs (inside Word/Powerpoint, or other standard office programs). The PDF/EPS versions will be ready to send to any printer and can be printed at any size (as vector formats are not resolution dependent).
PRINT DESIGN & ILLUSTRATION
This is all considered highly custom work and because sizes and complexity can vary depending on the project needs, we will need to talk before starting work.
